I had an operation for a reverse shoulder replacement by Mr Gulihar and I’d very much like to say how pleased I am with his treatment, my surgery and the outcome of the operation.

Doctor Gulihar treated me after a serious bike accident – I broke my collarbone in 4 places. The doctor put in an appointment for the next day after my accident, advised me on the next steps and we agreed to go ahead with a surgery. Mr Gulihar operated on my shoulder after it dislocated six times. I have had overall a very good experience. The operation was done quickly and efficiently and I was able to go home the same day. I am very happy with my whole experience. I found Mr Gulihar very friendly and easy to deal with. My shoulder operation for latarjet procedure was definitely a success and went better than I expected it to do.

I had surgery for ulnar nerve decompression. I really appreciated what Mr Gulihar did with fitting me into his schedule. His bedside manner was great. Mr Abhinav Gulihar is foremost a respectable person, very talented surgeon. I am 6 months post-surgery after both shoulder replacements the results are amazing, I couldn’t be happier. His positive attitude and energy of being genuinely interested and expressing that with warmth was fantastic.

I had reverse shoulder replacement surgery under Mr Gulihar’s care. Before operation, I had severe pain and I couldn’t do day to day things. It was making me depressed. I felt Dr Gulihar was very knowledgeable about my carpal tunnel syndrome. He was able to pinpoint the issue during the first consultation. He was able to identify which nerve was being affected. Mr Gulihar is very good and is a nice chap. He did a very good job with straightening my finger. He advised me to do the exercises. Generally the service that I had was very good.

Mr Gulihar treated me for Depuytrens Contracture – a procedure done with local anaesthetic. He explained everything clearly, listened to my queries and was happy to answer questions. He was calm and kind, and I therefore felt less anxious. The procedure seems very successful, is healing well, my fingers are straighter, and I am in “Dupuytren’s disease”

Everything went good from the start of the operation and my recovery was good as well. I had a rotator cuff repair and everything was excellent. My physio was good as well. Mr Gulihar was great and did a good job on me and is generally a very nice guy.

I saw Mr Gulihar for shoulder pain and had surgery within 4 weeks. It was a keyhole surgery to repair a large tear of three tendons in my shoulder. I am very pleased with the outcome and I can lift heavy pallets without any problems.

I am very pleased with my experience from the time I went into the hospital to the time I was discharged. I am well please with the result from the operation. After breaking my upper humerus and struggling for 7 months without success to regain some mobility through therapy, I approached Mr Gulihar. He explained in detail the problem and the resolution being an operation requiring a metal plate. I had a complicated metacarpus spiral fracture. I was told by NHS it would heal by itself. Three months later I was told it wouldn’t heal without surgery, which made me feel so frustrated. Had a bad elbow which was causing me pain and discomfort . I had an operation and have no pain any more. Very good doctor.

Following a serious shoulder and pectoral injury, I saw Mr Abhinav Gulihar to assess my injuries. My injury was assessed following a speedy MRI scan and the following day Mr Gulihar asked me to attend the at Princess Royal University Bromley hospital the following day for surgery. I was very surprised I was offered a “Pectoralis major tendon repair”

Mr Gulihar has been exceptionally thorough and informative in all my clinic meetings. After looking at my scaphoid bone fracture, he suggested the surgery as the injury went unnoticed for a long time. He explained the procedure and all aspects of it were covered. After suffering a left distal biceps tendon rupture in Sept 2020 I saw Mr Gulihar who performed a successful repair using the endobutton fixation method. I found him to be highly knowledgeable with clear and concise answers to my questions concerning the procedure. The Post-op care was excellent with him calling to update me on “Biceps tendon repair”

Mr. Gulihar had been offered out to me by Bupa as one of a handful of orthopaedic specialists in my area. I had chosen him as my preferred specialist and never looked back. He was extremely attentive to my acute dequervains synovitis and tennis elbow, offering numerous options for treatment. I had been suffering in “De Quervain’s tenosynovitis (wrist tendonitis)”

Mr Gulihar was very compassionate. When I first him during lockdown he had a mask on so it was good to see him recently without a mask. He was very understanding of my pain and the issues that my thumb joint showed.
